Frequently Asked Questions

can I wear my jewelry in the water?

Many companies state that their silver and gold-plated products are “waterproof”, however this is untrue. There are only a handful of metals in the jewelry industry that can withstand constant water exposure. Sterling Silver, also known as S925 can withstand light exposure to water, sweat, and humidity, however we strongly advise that users do not acclimate this behavior with Silver jewelry because it will speed the tarnishing process. DO NOT use Sterling Silver or any alloyed jewelry in a chemically processed pool . The main concern behind exposing jewelry to water lies in the alloys that compose said piece. Gold jewelry such as but not limited to 14k,18k, and even 22k can change color do to the chemical reaction with the alloys used to create them. 24k Gold can withstand constant submersion, however solid gold is not a viable option for strong dependable jewelry.

Whether purchasing loose gems or Tennis Chains all of our Diamonds and Moissanite are certified with detailed information included in each certificate to give our customers piece of mind in what they are purchasing.

What’s the difference between Diamond and Moissanite?

To the naked eye our VVS D color moissanites cannot be distinguished from lab diamonds. Using a basic diamond tester all our moissanite jewelry passes the test. On the Mohs scale a diamond is a 10 and moissanite follows closely behind with a 9.25, so rest assured it will not be easy to scratch your precious gems. The most notable advantage to moissanite compared to diamond is the cost. Moissanite is drastically more affordable than diamond and in many cases has a more illustrious shine.
